How does the third person camera mode work in Modern Warfare 2?

Activision revealed a Modern warfare 2 Third-person mode at the Call of Duty Next event. Longtime fans of the series will recall that the original Modern Warfare 2 also included a mode that allowed players to challenge it from a behind-the-back perspective, and it’s interesting to see that Infinity Ward was responsible for the new game returns to the roots of MWII.

How will third person mode work in Modern Warfare 2?

Luckily, you can’t use third-person mode throughout the game. Instead, it’s a modifier that needs to be enabled and is likely to be used on certain playlists.

While players move in 3rd person perspective as usual, players see from a behind-the-back perspective, similar to PUBG. However, if you hold down the aim button, you’ll zoom into a first-person perspective to see through your weapon’s sights.

Obviously, this isn’t going to be a mode everyone is crazy about. The ability to see around corners without peeking breaks immersion for many players and is somewhat at odds with Call of Duty’s identity. However, it will be an interesting alternative and lead to some unique gameplay opportunities.

You can try this new camera mode when the game releases on October 28th, 2022. How does the third person camera mode work in Modern Warfare 2?
