Originally starting under the presidency of Jimmy Carter, the series was created to showcase the rich fabric of American culture.

Who is performing?
This year’s performance at the White House will be the first since 2016, as no concerts have been held during Donald Trump’s presidency.
The TV special will focus on the spirit of the holiday season.
As a result, music and performances will celebrate the festivities and accentuate the seasonal décor at the White House.
Jennifer Garner, an American actress, will host this year’s show.
