High school student arrested after reporting fake “gunman”

CITRUS COUNTY, FL. – A Citrus County high school was shut down Friday after a student reported a gunman on campus.

Within seconds, authorities and law enforcement are immediately notified and responded to the teacher’s location. It was determined that one student shouted during the changeover when another student was observed holding a gun.
