Harry Potter addict shows off world’s largest collection of wizarding memorabilia

A HARRY Potter addict has created the world’s largest collection of wizarding memorabilia – in two decades of wandering.
Tracey Nicol-Lewis, 47, has 6,300 magical items including wands, special edition books, Lego sets and artwork.
And she had a Potter themed wedding to husband Martin, 45, last year.
Tracey, in the middle of Glamorgan, said: “It’s a magical world.”

A FIRST edition Harry Potter book has sold for a record £356,000.
The Sorcerer’s Stone replica was one of 500 printed in 1997.
A woman who collected a book turned movie bought it in 1998 because she was anticipating it would hit the big screen.
The edition included typographical errors such as “a wand” being printed twice in the list of items Harry needed for the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
“It’s in mint, pristine condition, which is why it’s so sought after,” said Joe Maddalena of Heritage Auctions in Dallas, Texas.
Bid prices started at £50,000 but it sold for £287,000, with fees running up to £356,000 – the highest for any first published book of the 20th century.
The great Gatsby set the previous record of £285,000 in 2014.
And a signed first edition copy set the previous Harry Potter record of £125,000 last year in Edinburgh.
