Halo Infinite insiders are suggesting the battle royale mode will arrive in 2022

Industry insider Jez Corden suggests that the long-rumored Halo Infinite Battle Royale is nearing completion and will be released in 2022.
Fans have been clamoring for a Halo battle royale mode for years, and they may get their wish sooner rather than later.
343 Industries recently deepened its partnership with a support studio, which Windows Central says represents the final step required to create a dream scenario to enhance Halo Infinite Jez Corden.
Will Halo Infinite have a Battle Royale mode?
On April 12, Halo’s longtime development partner, Certain Affinity, announced They would work with 343 to continue developing Infinite in “some new and exciting ways”.
That announcement never specified her exact role within the game, but with CA having long been a helping hand on the multiplayer side of the franchise, it didn’t take long for speculation to begin.
Corden further confirmed The Xbox Two Podcast that this partnership will feature a new mode with a shrinking zone mechanic and that its scope would be impressive: “This is a Call of Duty Warzone-sized company.”

This mode would move away from the traditional arena-style gameplay of Halo’s past and focus more on Fortnite and Apex Legends audiences, Corden said.
As for the release date, the insider suggested the start of Infinite Season 3 as a potential flagship, but warned it could also be pushed back to late 2022.
