The Grammys have unveiled the third lineup of artists for their ceremony in Las Vegas on April 3.
This year’s 64th annual show, hosted by Trevor Noah, has duo Silk Sonic – Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak – to open the ceremony, followed by newly added artists Carrie Underwood, John Legend and J Balvin with Maria Becerra.
Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola and Billy Strings will appear in special segments “presenting Las Vegas and highlighting genres not historically represented in the Grammy Awards broadcast.”
Additionally acc diversity, A tribute to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last week (March 25) at the age of 50, is in the works.
They all join previously announced artists Jon Batiste, HER, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Nas, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Brandi Carlile, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Brothers Osborne and appearances from Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, Leslie Odom Jr .and Rachel Zegler in a special memoriam to Stephen Sondheim.
Silk Sonic made her TV debut at last year’s Grammys with “Leave the Door Open,” after a tongue-in-cheek campaign to get on the show. The couple is currently nominated for four awards.
