Gerald Eugene Hance, 93 years old of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at National Health Care in Joplin, Missouri. He was born in Carl Junction, Missouri on October 5, 1928, to William Hance and Roberta (Kirby) Hance. He is a US Navy Veteran who served in World War II, a member of the Elks Lodge in Joplin, and also a 32nd Degree Builder, and he loves to fish. Gerald is survived by his son, Douglas L. Hance and his wife Lois; an older brother Paul Hance; and a younger sister, Sondra King. Gerald’s wish is to be cremated and there will be no service. Cremation arrangements were made under the direction of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City.
