Genshin Impact dataset uncovers big hint to be able to run Kazuha again in update 2.6

Anemo’s popular 5-star hero Kazuha could be back soon after new Genshin Impact 2.6 data reveals a possible hint at the next rerun banner.

After the release of the “When the Sakura Bloom” Version 2.5 update in February, The Genshin effect Data testers discovered additional information about HoYoverse RPG’s future content plans.

Newly revealed details about patch 2.6 may have also given players a key hint as to one of the next 5-star characters to receive the rerun banner. The leak led many to believe that it was extremely popular Hero Anemo Kazuha will make for his much-anticipated return.

Did Genshin Impact 2.6 leak hints at Kazuha rerun banner?

Genshin Impact’s AccountSaveYourPrimos‘ was first covered by the GI Front in a February 17 tweet and revealed that an upcoming change to the Abyss on 2.6 could hint at Kazuha’s return.

“In Genshin Impact 2.6, Level 11 Spiral Abyss provides 75% Anemo damage. This strongly suggests that Venti and/or Kazuha will receive a rerun on 2.6,” the account’s post read.

The upcoming 2.6 update is said to also include the Irodori Festival in Inazuma as its main event, which is said to feature Kazuha along with several other characters.

This makes it clear that Venti and/or Kazuha will be running again on 2.6.

While many believe the hint is about Kazuha, not everyone is convinced. Genshin Impact players took to social media to explain why they think the 2.6 rerun banner might be centered around Venti.

“Why Kazuha? Humans are mostly spin and damage overload,” tweeted one skeptical player.

Another fan wrote, “First Floor 11 Abyss Bonus is Anemo, it’s 300% spin damage. So finally Venti was running again. “

Another user agreed and said, “It’s Venti, because Kazuha’s kit resembles an Elemental Mastery expansion character more than Anemo DPS.”

Famous leaker Genshin UBatcha apparently also thought it was Venti and tweeted “Venti” with a thinking emoji after posting leaked images of the 2.6 Spiral Abyss Anemo bonus.

Only time will tell if Kazuha or Venti will get to run again in the Genshin Impact version 2.6 update – but the leaked Abyss bonus sure has some users believing so.

Following the data, both characters started trending worldwide on Twitter when players begged HoYoverse to bring back Anemo’s favorites.
