Detectives say county line drug dealers attack teenagers and even younger children with the candy and then persuade them to join their gangs.
West Yorkshire Police recently seized £300,000 worth of cannabis edibles from a house in Wakefield.
They were designed like candies and packed in colorful packages.
And officials in the east of England received 150 reports of similar “treats” in just six months.
