Gangland killer gets £15,000 compensation for being locked up with dangerous inmates

The GANGLAND killer has been awarded £15,000 for being locked up with dangerous men.
Jemmikai Orlebar-Forbes, 28, claims he has been quarantined from terrorists after becoming a Muslim in prison.
The move left him locked in a cell for up to 23 hours a day alongside inmates including Taliban recruit Munir Farooqi, 63, and jihadist thug Jewel Uddin, 35.
Orlebar-Forbes, of Balham, South London, was jailed for a minimum of 31 years in 2013 for his part in the murder of a rival drug dealer. Now he calls himself Abdullah.
He claims he was mistakenly held with dangerous people in the high security unit at HMP Frankland, Durham in 2019.
A source said: “He groaned from being isolated in his cell all day and he said he was assaulted by a warden.
“Officials have dismissed his story as untrue but he managed to win the bounty for being misplaced in the unit.”
Justice Department leaders say out-of-court settlement to save taxpayers from legal costs could be higher.
“It makes no sense that the MoJ wouldn’t even counter its claims,” said David Spencer of the Center for Crime Prevention.
Uddin – jailed for 19 and a half years for plotting to blow up a British far-right Defense League protest – smashed six teeth of a prison officer in 2019.
