Free Government COVID Testing Kits: Americans can now order 3rd round of at-home COVID-19 tests delivered by USPS

The government first began offering the free at-home tests in January. They announced a second round to ship in March.
And now, with cases surging again, a third round of free at-home COVID-19 tests can be ordered.
This time there will be eight tests in each order. During the first and second rounds of free testing, people could order four tests per household.
Orders are accepted immediately COVIDTests.gov.
“Your order of 8 tests will be delivered in 2 separate packages (4 tests in each package), each with its own tracking number. Parcels are shipped free of charge,” the website reads.
Earlier this month, a senior administration official said the government had run through about 400 million of the 1 billion free tests Americans have been promised so far in the first and second rounds of free testing. The official said they expected to use a few hundred million more over the next few months.
