FRASIER star David Hyde Pierce looks unrecognizable 29 years on from the beloved comedy.

David, 62, played Frasier Niles Crane’s younger but equally snobby brother in hit sitcomslasted from 1993 to 2004.

At the beginning of the series, David sported soft blonde locks but towards the end of the film he has embraced a more cropped look.

Now, David has less hair on the top of his head and for a while also has a bushy beard that makes it much harder for fans to recognize.

Since Frasier ended, David has continued to act, appearing in The Good Wife as Frank Prady and also voicing The Simpsons from 1997 to 2014.

His most recent project is the TV series Julia, starring Sarah Lancashire as celebrity chef Julia Child, her husband Paul, currently in post-production.

Meanwhile, about his personal life, David revealed he is gay in 2007, before marrying longtime partner Brian Hargrove in 2008.

Last year, it was revealed that Frasier would be returning to screens after execs announced that they would be rebooting the series on Paramount Plus.

Kelsey Grammer was delighted to confirm that he will be returning to his lead role in the Frasier sequel series. In a statement, he said:

“Having spent over 20 years of my creative life on the Paramount stage, both producing shows and performing a number of shows, I want to congratulate Paramount + on entering the world of streaming.”

“I am eagerly looking forward to sharing the next chapter in Dr. Frasier Crane’s continuing journey.”
