“It’s been over three weeks since the attack in Ukraine and I wanted to start sharing everything,” Hall said tweeted.

“But first I have to pay tribute to my colleagues Pierre and Sasha who didn’t make it that day. Pierre and I traveled the world together, the work was his joy and his joy was contagious. RIP.

Hall went on to discuss the extent of his injuries in a separate tweet.

“To sum it up, I lost half a leg on one side and a foot on the other side.

“A hand is being put together, an eye isn’t working anymore and my hearing is pretty shattered… but overall I feel pretty darn lucky to be here – and it’s the people who brought me here that are amazing!”

Hall was injured and rescued from the war zone over three weeks ago.

He was then flown to a hospital in Germany before being transferred to a military medical facility in Texas, FOX reports.

Many of Hall’s colleagues at FOX have exchanged words of encouragement and support following the updates he provided.

Sean Hannity opened up about Hall’s health updates on his show tonight.

“First to Pierre and Sasha’s family – our thoughts and prayers are with all who are suffering. You know you’re thinking of all the hurt, all the lives lost in the cause of freedom,” Hannity said.

“Ben as a friend and colleague you have done a great job in Ukraine all of us here at FOX everyone I know I speak for every person who works on this network we are praying for you your family on your journey to follow Recovery and we pray for the families of these two brave journalists, Sasha and Pierre, who did not make it home.
