Former The Real co-host Amanda Seales landed new radio show

the real one comes to an end after eight seasons and various host changes. A popular but controversial host was Amanda Seales, who canceled the hosting gig after just six months. Seales recently landed her first full-time gig as a hosting show since leaving Fox’s daytime talk show.

meeting reports that Seales is bringing her talents back to SiriusXM. She was previously a hostess Breakfast at Divas on satellite radio’s Hip Hop Nation from 2003 to 2007. Now she’s coming back as a moderator Amanda Seales’ Smart, Funny, and Black Radio on Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud radio station. The weekly hour-long program will debut Monday, April 18 at 10am ET on SiriusXM.

Alonsgide Seales will be her co-host Taj Rani, a producer at Seales’ Smart Funny & Black Productions; and Jeremiah LikeTheBible. The show will be filled with talks, games, celebrity interviews and commentary on black culture and other current issues affecting culture.
Aside from commenting on various platforms, Seales recently completed five seasons as Tiffany DuBois on HBO’s Insecure. She also directed her own HBO stand-up comedy special, I know it.
She left The Real over censorship allegations
Many felt Seales left the real one because of potential tensions with their co-hosts. But she said it was the complete opposite, noting that they were mostly supportive.

during one Instagram live chat, Seales implied that the network was attempting to censor her discussion of race and politics. Specifically, she says she was barred from discussing the Black Lives Matter movement and various protests across the country.
“I didn’t renew because it doesn’t feel good for my soul to be in a place where I can’t speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to,” she said live on Instagram. “And where the people who are desperately speaking to me aren’t being treated … I’m not in a place where, as an all-Black woman, I can have my voice and my peers have their voice too, and where people at the top don’t have respect.” the need for black voices to be at the top too.”
Would Amanda Seales Return to Daytime TV?
Ahead of her new radio deal, Seales opened up about why daytime TV wasn’t the place for her. While she loves sharing her comments, there are too many limitations to working under a network umbrella.
“I don’t even know if I would ever go back to the day, I know I wouldn’t do a panel show because I worry enough about myself.
