Former neighbors and “Home & Away” stars welcome the child together

Former Home and Away star Bob Morley and ex-Neighbors actress Eliza Taylor welcomed a baby into the world.

The two Australian soap stars announced their happy news in a sweet Instagram post on Sunday (March 20) after keeping Eliza’s pregnancy a secret for almost nine months.

Sharing an adorable snap of her baby foot with her 3.2million followers, Eliza joked, “While sleep really is a thing of the past, we couldn’t be happier.”

The couple announced they were expecting a bundle of joy in February and shared their life-changing news with fans via Instagram.

The stars shared the same photo of three pairs of slippers, including a tiny pair of booties for their upcoming baby, named Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear.

Bob captioned his photo, “Getting ready for the greatest roles of all time. Big shoes to fill and we can’t wait!”

Explaining why they kept her pregnancy a secret, Taylor wrote, “Our pregnancy journey hasn’t always been smooth.

“But we’re delighted to announce that our little bundle is officially on the way.”

It comes as Home and Away star Sophie Dillman has hinted she is worried about the show’s future after her Australian soap neighbor was axed after 37 years.

The actress, who plays Ziggy Astoni, says she was “devastated”.

Sophie said: “It was such an iconic Australian TV show. It was a great jumping off point not only for the actors but also for the cast, crew and directors.

“I knew so many people working on it and it’s heartbreaking to see.

“I don’t know what that means home and away. When we heard that, we were all very, very sad.”

In the UK, Home And Away and Neighbors are both on Channel 5 but they do not share production companies.
