Fatal stabbing: Husband charged with murdering his wife in front of 13-year-old daughter in northwest Houston

Francisco Leon Jimenez has been charged with the murder of his wife, 35-year-old Yennis Olga Llanes Garcia.

According to HPD Lt. Ignacio Izaguirre, authorities responded to Woodsman Trail and Pine Moss around 11 p.m. Wednesday and found Garcia with multiple knife wounds on her body.

Houston Fire Department personnel told responding officers that Jimenez fled the scene in a black Cadillac SUV. According to HPD Homicide Sergeant K. Meek, he was in the 8000 block of Antoine during a traffic stop.

Jimenez was taken into custody without further incident.

Officials told ABC13 they believe the couple were arguing before the stabbing about another man who may have been involved with Garcia.

Izaguirre said the teenage daughter, who was not injured, and another couple living in the home witnessed the fatal stabbing.
