Fatal Accident: 1 dead, 6 injured including an 8-year-old boy in a three-vehicle crash in northwest Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — On Friday night, a deputy pursued a suspect who ended up in a fatal crash in northwest Harris County.

One person was killed and six injured, including an eight-year-old, in a three-vehicle crash on Friday night.

Around 5 p.m., a Harris County deputy attempted to stop traffic as the teen driver fled near Greenhouse Road and Little York, according to the HCSO.

The brief chase ended when the driver rammed two other cars.

A car occupied an adult who was pronounced dead and an 8-year-old was removed from the scene by LifeFlight, according to the HCSO.

There were three people in the other vehicle. They were all taken to a nearby hospital.

The teenager, who is believed to be 16, was riding with two other teenagers, who were all taken to hospital.
