CoD Mobile is already working on its third seasonal update of the year.
CoD Mobile Season 3 2022: Release Date
CoD Mobile Season 3 currently has no release date. Although we can make an educated guess based on previous seasons along with the current Battle Pass.
The current Season 2: Task Force 141 Battle Pass is expected to disappear on Friday April 1st. Usually, new patches are applied immediately, making this a likely start date for the Season 3 update.
Note, however, that Battle Passes can be renewed at any time. We’ll definitely be updating you here once the CoD Mobile Season 3 release date is set.
CoD Mobile Season 3 2022: New Black Ops Cold War Map
Although the new Season 3 content has not yet been officially revealed, we can get a first glimpse of what to expect thanks to the files found in the latest test server build.
The Black Ops Cold War satellite map is one such piece of content that appeared in the test. While the vast majority of maps ported lately are from Modern Warfare, Season 3 could break that trend with this Treyarch theme.

Satellite was one of Black Ops Cold War’s earliest maps, even showing up in the game’s early beta.
A Cold War launch map, Satellite featured a medium-sized layout with verticality at its core. Teams controlling the high ground towards the center of the map often had the advantage.
Much like the release date, though, it’s worth taking that with a pinch of salt for now. We’ve seen previous test builds teasing content arriving months later, so there’s no guarantee Satellite is ready for Season 3 to launch. We’ll keep you posted as new details emerge.
CoD Mobile Season 3 2022: Ground War Game Mode
Our last tidbit from the latest CoD Mobile Test Server build hinted that Ground War is on its way to becoming a handheld title. This big team playlist features 12v12 matches across the game’s larger maps.
In addition, players seem to have access to vehicles in these large-scale battles. Motorcycles, assault vehicles, and even tanks have all been mentioned in the files.
The new map “Satellite” will appear together with the mode “Ground War 12v12” in the next beta test.
