EU puts Putin on sanctions list after Ukraine invasion

BRUSSELS (Reuters) – The European Union has agreed to add Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to a list of individuals sanctioned following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, its foreign policy director said. EU Josep Borrell said on Friday.
Borrell told a news conference after a meeting of EU foreign ministers to work out the details of the bloc’s sanctions.
