Esfand rushed to the hospital on the first day in South Korea

Twitch streamer Esfand was hospitalized after an accident on the first day of his trip to South Korea. Esfand was traveling with his friends Mizkif, Emily “Emiru” Schunk, “AustinShow” and “PhinTTV” when he had an unfortunate crash with a slot machine.

Mizkif got fans excited when he announced that he plans to travel to South Korea alongside his friends and co-creators – Esfand, Emiru, Austin and Phin.

To keep fans updated on their travels, the group released a series of tweets showing their excitement about their adventure.

However, things came to an abrupt end for Esfand when he had to be rushed to the emergency room after he “broke a bone” playing against a slot machine.

When Mizkif started his live stream from South Korea, fans wondered why Esfand had mysteriously disappeared.

Esfand loses the fight against the arcade machine

As Mizkif began his live stream from South Korea, he explained to confused fans that Esfand would be going away from the camera for a few days. The reason was that he was in the hospital after banging a bone in his hand.

Mizkif explained that he and Esfand competed to see who could throw the hardest punch in an arcade game. However, Esfand made an unfortunate mistake in his crushing hit.

“He hits with an open fist and immediately grabs his thumb,” Austin claimed. “Next thing you know, we’re in a taxi to a Korean hospital […] It’s being scanned and he’s chipped a bone in his thumb.”

At the time of the livestream, the group were waiting to hear if Esfand would need surgery to fix the problem. Mizkif then joked, “It’s found, chat, maybe get surgery in Korea, which is a whole stream in itself, so get excited.”

Esfand then took to Twitter to give concerned fans an update on his condition. He posted an X-ray of the fracture and proved he survived the incident by saying he’s still a “gladiator”.

According to Mizkif and his friends, it will be a few more days before Esfand recovers quickly and can accompany them on their journey around South Korea. Although it is likely that they will avoid further arcades.
