SAN JOSE, Calif (AP) – An attorney for former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes on Friday limited her efforts to convince a grand jury to acquit her of fraud charges by likening her final days She runs a troubled blood-testing startup with a brave captain trying to save a sinking ship. Holmes’ lawyer Kevin Downey insists she would jump over the train like a scared rat if she committed any crimes. The analogy ended a five-hour presentation that Downey began on Thursday after federal prosecutors spent three hours summing up why Holmes should be found guilty of fraud and conspiracy. The case is expected to be turned over to a grand jury late Friday.
