Eddie Mekka, his daughter, Mia Mekjian, has survived her father’s footsteps in acting and has a love of the stage.
“Laverne & Shirley” favorite Eddie Mekka, passed away “last Friday or Saturday,” November 26, November 27, according to his brother, Warren Mekjian. Then shared the devastating news with Press this week.
Mekka, 69, passed away at her Newall California home. His brother shared that it was unclear how or when he died, but there was no indication that his death was suspicious.

Warren heard about his brother’s death after Mekka’s neighbors didn’t believe the actor for several days and found his body in the house when they came to check on him. Warren received a call about his brother’s death on Saturday.
The actor is survived by his two brothers, Warren and Wayne, his sister, Lenore, and his daughter, Mia. Mia follows in her father’s footsteps because she is an actress and has a passion for theatre.

In the past, Mekka and his daughter even liked stage together. As a young girl, Mia collaborated with her father in the play “Fiddler on the Roof.” Mekka plays Tevye and Mia plays the character’s youngest daughter.
Tevye’s role has become a staple for Mekka in her career. He once estimated that he played the role of tole in about 20 productions of classical musicals.
However, despite his on-stage success, most fans will remember him as Shirley’s boyfriend, Carmine Ragusa, AKA “The Big Ragoo” from the TV show “Laverne & Shirley” but 70’s and 80’s.
Mekka had a very successful career in the show business and acted in about 50 TV shows and movies, including small roles in the 1992 film A League of their Own and the series. movie “Dreamgirls” 2006.
