Ed Sheeran paid for Gordon Ramsay’s cooking lessons after he performed at serious star Tilly’s birthday party

ED Sheeran has revealed he took cooking lessons from Gordon Ramsay, to pay for performing at the 18th birthday party of Serious star Tilly’s daughter.

Favorite pop music performed a set of five songs at the James Bond themed party in November 2019 but has now admitted he only did it for Gordon to come and show him and his wife Cherry How to make beef pie and apple pie.

Ed said: “I don’t like people saying, ‘Hey here’s a bunch of money, come and play two songs here,’ whether it’s a wedding or whatever.

“What happened was he emailed me and said, ‘How much will the fee be?’

“And I said, ‘You know what? Why don’t I trade your skills for mine.

“You come around and give me a cooking lesson and I’ll play your daughter 18.”

Speaking on radio in America, Ed – who will be releasing his Elton John collaboration Merry Christmas tomorrow – said: “He came around and taught me and my wife how to cook good beef and apple tatin.

“It was a classy apple pie and it was really delicious.”
