Alaqua Cox will reprise her role as Maya Lopez/Echo. She previously played the character in a supporting role in Hawkeye, and this spin-off series will feature her as the protagonist. Zach McClarnon will portray William Lopez, Maya’s father, on the show. Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning and Graham Greene have all been cast in unknown lead roles.

This show will also feature familiar Marvel faces. Charlie Cox will portray Matt Murdock/Daredevil. After playing the role in the iconic Netflix series Daredevil, he made a brief cameo appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He will appear in this film after his role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Additionally, Vincent D’Onofrio will return as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, having previously shared screen with Murdock in Daredevil and Lopez in Hawkeye.

What is the echo plot?

This storyline takes place after the events of Hawkeye. It will continue to explore our deaf Native American superhero as she returns to her hometown. She will come to terms with her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her family and community. Although Hawkeye appeared to end with Echo shooting Kingpin, the comics have a similar storyline where Kingpin survives being shot but is blinded. This could explain his return in the upcoming series.

In this series, Daredevil will search for a former ally who is widely rumored to be Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). With information like this, it’s obvious that Echo will be catering to fans of the Disney+ and Netflix era of Marvel TV. Echo Release Date, News, Cast, Storyline, Rumors, Leaks and More
