Earthworks Ethos’ $300 price cut is aimed at streamers

After praising the Earthworks Audio Ethos mic in my glowing GameRevolution review, I drive it to work and play every day. In my review, the Ethos earned a score of 9.5/10, with the only downside being the $699 price tag. Well, that’s not a problem now that Earthworks has announced a drop in the Ethos price to $399. That’s a savings of $300!

New Earthworks Ethos price of $399

Earthworks Ethos price cut

In a press release announcing the price reduction, Earthworks Audio promised that it was “able to reduce costs through increased efficiencies and investments without sacrificing build quality or performance features.”

Despite the sharp drop in price for the consumer, the build quality and audio performance should be the same. In addition, the Ethos units are still produced in New England, USA and support over 30 US families.

The new price of $399, which is valid until the end of the year or while supplies last, puts it in direct competition with arguably the most popular live streaming mic, the Shure SM7B, and makes it cheaper than another popular choice, the Electro -Voice RE20.

Priced at $399, it’s sure to turn the heads of many avid streamers and content creators looking to upgrade to an “endgame” mic. If that is you, the mic can be viewed and purchased here. Earthworks Ethos’ $300 price cut is aimed at streamers
