EAMONN Holmes wowed fans with an amazing throwback and rare picture of look-alike son Declan.

The 62-year-old TV presenter took to Instagram to wish his boy a happy birthday.

To mark the special occasion, the Northern Ireland broadcaster found an old snap of themselves and Declan as a baby and edited it alongside Declan now with his baby daughter.

In the picture, Eamonn has a big smile on his face as he holds his eldest child, who he shares with ex-wife Gabrielle Holmes.

The presenter captioned the post: “33 years ago he was my firstborn. Now he too knows the responsibility of being a father.

“Happy Birthday December 🎂 🥳 🎉 So proud of you son x.”

Many rushed to the comments section to send their love to Declan.

Eamonn’s wife Ruth Langsford wrote: “You can only imagine this day… and here it is! ❤️”

TV personality Lizzy Cundy said: “What beautiful pictures ❤️❤️.”

Former Towie star Carol Wright commented: “Amazing. X ❤️.”

Model Lisa Snowdon simply added, “❤️❤️❤️.”

Back in July 2021, Eamonn announced that he had become a grandpa after Declan and his wife Jenny welcomed their first child.

He told This Morning viewers that his granddaughter Amelia was born weighing 7lbs 6oz.

Declan and Nurse Jenny tied the knot in 2018.

It came just three months after the TV favorite told fans at home they were expecting.

Earlier this month, Eamonn shared a photo of his painful-looking blisters after a battle with shingles three years ago.

Shingles is a skin rash caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox — which lies dormant in the nervous system of 90 percent of adults — before waking up.

Alongside the photo, he wrote: “Having had shingles I know how painful and exhausting it can be.

“That’s why I’m supporting #ShinglesAwarenessWeek with @GSK and @IntFedAgeing.”

Eamonn and ex-wife Gabrielle share three children – Declan, Niall Holmes, 29, and Rebecca Holmes, 31.

Eamonn married Ruth in 2010.

They have one son together, 20-year-old Jack, whom they welcomed into the world in 2002.
