DWI train crash in Houston: Bryan Ron arrested and charged with drunkenness in wreck kills passengers on I-610 North Loop

Bryan Keith Rone has been charged with manslaughter in a crash that occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on the freeway near McCarty.

Houston police say Rone was driving west in a gray Mercedes Benz GL when he lost control and hit the median.

The vehicle overturned several times, knocking out a 36-year-old man.

The passenger, identified as Delmus Menard, died at the scene.

Police said Ron was being treated at the hospital for minor injuries and appeared to be intoxicated.

He was charged and sent to prison.

Ron’s bond is set at $40,000.

He is expected to return to court on Friday.
