Harry ‘shocked’ when Andrew used to ‘bark at staff’
A FORMER royal chef at Kensington Palace claimed Prince Harry was “shocked” at how Prince Andrew would speak to the kitchen staff.
Darren McGrady, who has worked for the royal family for 15 years, said a young Harry would “crow back” when Andrew “barked at staff” and demanded food.
Darren served as the personal chef for the Queen, Princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry, and said Diana has tried to raise her sons with impeccable manners.
He told biographer Chris Hutchins about his 2013 book Harry: The People’s Prince: “[Diana] often took William and Harry down to the kitchen to say thank you after the meal they enjoyed. “
Darren claimed that a young Harry would “return” about how rude Andrew was to staff.
“Andrew is always straight to the point and tells you exactly what he wants,” he said.
“While Harry was taught to say ‘Please, please…’, Andrew barked, ‘Where’s my mango? I want my mango'”.
“I’m not surprised that Harry resembles Diana. She married him.”
