Who is Damon Albarn?

Albarn is an English singer and songwriter who is best known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the band Blur, as well as co-founder, vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter. main band Gorillaz.

“When I sing, I have to close my eyes and just be in it. I consider myself a traditionalist in that sense.

“A really interesting musician is Billie Eilish and her brother. I’m more attracted to that than Taylor Swift. It’s just darker – less upbeat. Smaller and quirky way. I think she is special. ”

How did Taylor Swift respond?

Swift’s quote tweeted the article from the Los Angeles Times on Twitter, which said: “Albarn also speaks his mind about some of today’s chart-topping musical artists. Billie Eilish? “I think she’s special.” Taylor Swift? “She doesn’t write her own songs.”

In her tweet, she addressed Albarn directly by tagging him and writing: “@DamonAlbarn I was a huge fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL my own songs. Your hotness is completely wrong and damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really hard to try and discredit my writing. OH.”

She followed up her tweet with another tweet, stating, “P.S., I wrote this tweet alone in case you’re wondering.”

Some of Swift’s fellow musicians have also supported her online.

Has Damon Albarn apologized yet?
