But he could speak because he really was one 500 year old witch who was transformed as punishment for trying to take over the world.
One of the “mortal” parts of her life was her relationship with Harvey (played by Nate Richert), her boyfriend during her high school years. When Sabrina the teenage witch First performed in 1996, Richert became a teen heartthrob. Fans loved him as Harvey, Sabrina’s sweet but blind boyfriend. For years he was unaware that his girlfriend was a witch who had cast many spells on him during their relationship. Harvey found out the truth at the end of season four and couldn’t accept it. The couple split and Richert left the cast.
However, this was not the end of Richert’s work on the series or Harvey’s relationship with Sabrina.
What does he think happened after the show ended?
After leaving as a full-time actor, Richert had a few cameo appearances. When the series finale arrived in 2003, he returned, interrupting her marriage to someone else. The couple discovered they were soul mates and the series ended with them driving off together on his motorcycle.
What happened to the happy couple after the credits? In a 2022 interview with Entertainment Tonight, he and the rest of the cast weighed that question.
The interviewer asked where the characters would be today, and Richert theorized that Harvey would be “a very successful mechanic with his own garage.” Hart asked if he was getting married, which caused an uproar among the rest of the cast.
“Oh yeah! You’re kidding me, aren’t you?” He added sarcastically, “No, we got divorced a week later.”
Caroline Rheawho played Sabrina’s aunt, chimed in with a hearty “You’re SO happily married to me!”

In 2018, Richert shared on Twitter that his early success didn’t translate to an easy life.
“I’ve been an actor for 32 years (since I was 8),” he wrote. “I’m very fortunate to have had any success at all, not to mention my solid work in film and television for 6 years (20 years ago). I am currently a janitor, janitor, carpenter and doing whatever jobs I can get to help pay the bills. I improvise and write songs to keep my sanity.”
Richert’s life is mostly out of the limelight these days, but he seems content with the way things are going. He continues to work in the music industry and married actress Malorie Felt in 2019.
