Deputies called District 3 Fort Bend County Police Officer Nabil Shike after a disagreement with his wife

Fort Bend County Precinct 3 police officer Nabil Shike told ABC13 in an interview Thursday that he and his wife had a disagreement and the deputies responded.
When the police arrived, Shike was not at home. He said he wasn’t home during the disagreement either, but didn’t elaborate on how the two communicated.
Shike said there was no physical contact and reiterated that he was not home at the time. He said he was in his office.
He said he only found out from MPs responding to his House on Monday, when other officials asked him what had happened.

ABC13 asked the officer why the call to law enforcement was made when there was no physical contact and it was a verbal argument.
“Again there was a disagreement between my wife and I,” Shike said. “I wasn’t home when the call was made, wasn’t told about it until the next day. I won’t look it up. I don’t know what happened. The sheriff’s office came out. If you want more information, talk to the sheriff about it.”
ABC13 contacted the sheriff’s office Thursday and followed up several times but received no information about the call. They have not indicated whether they are investigating the circumstances.
Sources said the call can no longer be searched in the department’s system.
Prosecutors said the case had not been submitted to them for consideration.
Earlier this month, Houston police were called home to Chief Troy Finner, allegedly over a disagreement over his COVID-19 status.
