UPDATE 10:08 AM PT – Tuesday, December 7, 2021
A vulnerable Pennsylvania Democrat is trying to present the economy in a positive direction in 2022.
In a recent appeared on MSNBCSusan Wild detailed a letter she co-authored by other vulnerable Democrats expressing concerns about inflation and supply chains. She said that while it is important to put the economy first on everyone’s mind, jobs are being filled and the economy is doing very well.
“I want to make sure that we keep economic issues at the top of our leadership priority list,” said the Democrats. “But at the same time, I think the rumors of this economic collapse are exaggerated. I think we’re in really good form looking forward to 2022.”
According to recent polls, 90 percent of voters worry about the economy and 87 percent worry about inflation in particular.
Last night, I participated @AymanMSNBC with a clear message to Congress:
It is time to turn our attention to legislation that addresses supply chain shortages and addresses rising costs.
