Love Island returns to our screens later this month for another long, (hopefully) hot summer.
The ITV2 dating show begins its eighth series on Monday (6 June) and a new batch of singletons are currently waiting in the wings.
Among them is the self-proclaimed “Italian stallion” Davide Sanclimenti.
Davide is from Rome but lives in Manchester and hopes to use his country’s charms to win over the ladies at the villa.
“I’m good looking and I’ve realized a lot of English girls love me since I arrived in Manchester. They love being around me and I love being around them. It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it,” says the business owner.
When asked why he’s currently single, the business owner said he’s “picky” and sees himself as a “relationship guy.”
“I prefer to be in a relationship but at the same time I don’t go on a lot of dates,” Davide explained.
Regarding his “icks,” Davide said, “If a girl is really rude or not paying me enough attention, I lose interest very quickly… If I don’t get anything back, feedback or appreciation, I lose interest in that person.”
Bookmakers are already placing bets on who will win the series while you can find The Independent‘s own predictions here.
