Crime in Houston: Police open fire while executing a felony sentence in north Houston

Monday’s shooting happened in the afternoon in section 12300 of the North Highway. According to police, the officer was serving a felony sentence at the time.

HPD and PIO commanders were on their way to the 12300 block of the North Freeway when, according to preliminary information, an officer discharged his weapon while executing a felony sentence.
