Crime in Houston: Police open fire while executing a felony sentence in north Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities are investigating after an officer opened fire while serving a felony sentence in the north Houston area.

Monday’s shooting happened in the afternoon in section 12300 of the North Highway. According to police, the officer was serving a felony sentence at the time.

Details about the suspect or the sanctions were not immediately available.

It’s not clear what led to the shooting, but police said there are no reports of injuries at this time.
