According to a , Taylor and Chapman met at a fall sports banquet at Salem High School in New Jersey Q&A video on their shared YouTube channel.

Their first date was at a basketball game between the Salem Rams and the Penns Grove Red Devils, Taylor said.
While Chapman was visiting Ball State, Taylor played football in Wisconsin before the Colts selected him with the 41st overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Taylor led the NFL in rushing yards (1,811), rushing touchdowns (18), and scrimmage yards (2,171) last season, earning his name in MVP talks. He was also linked with Charges running back Austin Ekeler for most touchdowns (20).
