CoD leaker introduces map and location of Warzone 2

Call of Duty developers Infinity Ward have announced that they will be rolling out a new version of Warzone in the future, and now, early leaks suggest that a desert map follows Caldera.

Warzone rocked the FPS scene in March 2020, and after two years, players can expect a fresh coat of paint for CoD’s Battle Royale.

With the launch of Modern Warfare 2 expected later this yearIt has been revealed that a brand new Warzone experience will come with it in the form of Warzone 2 – leaving the battle royale that fans know and love in the rearview mirror.

Although details about the new battle royale are few and far between, the leakers are still teasing that Warzone 2My map will take the player to a war ravaged desert.

Caldera launched shortly after the release of Vanguard, with a vibrant tropical scene to explore.

Known Call of Duty leaker TheGhostofHope shared their insight on Warzone’s next map, saying that “based on what I’ve seen behind the scenes and what I’ve been told, I think the new map with Warzone 2 could play out. What happens here is likely to happen in the Atacama Desert.”

“This is not confirmed by me and is just speculation based on behind-the-scenes information,” Hope continued. While Infinity Ward developers have not officially confirmed any specifics, this initial speculation has been corroborated by other leaks.

Leaker Hydra9114, who is it a partial leak for the upcoming Snoop Dogg skin collaborator, shared Hope’s concept of the desert map with a tweet simply captioned “Sand”.

The Call of Duty franchise has explored desert areas before with the iconic Modern Warfare 2 maps ‘Rust’ and ‘Afghanistan’.
