Coca-Cola recall

(WJW) – The Coca-Cola Company has announced two recalls due to potential “foreign impurities” in some of its beverages.
The first day, Food safety news that the following Minute Maid juices in a 59-ounce carton have been recalled after metal washers and bolts could fall on the beverage:
- Maid Berry Punch
- Strawberry lemonade
- Fruit punch
These juices are distributed throughout Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Maine, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia, but not Ohio. Since the 7,000 recalled products have an expiration date of 2022, people should throw these juices out of their homes.
Several types of soda are also being recalled from the company due to potential “foreign impurities”:
- Coca-Cola 12-ounce can: Date code: AUG 1522 WM REMOVED
- Coca-Cola 12-ounce can: Date code: AUG 1522 WM OLD
- Sprite 12-ounce can: Date code: AUG 1522 WM REMOVED
These cans are believed to have been distributed in the south, according to a Declaration of the Department of Defense All Food and Drugs.
