“Er… I know what @DLInTheTrenches is talking about. I’m not dating Kay.” Usoma wrote in a tweet with Dave Lapham, a podcast host covering the Bengals.
“My decision to go to NY was about nothing other than what was in my best interest for myself and my playing career. Respect you Dave but I had to say this when false rumors started spreading.”
Lapham later apologized in a separate tweet, To write“Totally fair, my apologies to you and Ms [Kay Adams].”
In another tweet, Uzomah said recent love rumors about Adams were taking a toll on his relationship.
“My private life is my private life. However, my girl is not particularly happy about these allegations.” he wrote.
It’s unclear who Uzomah’s girl is as the 29-year-old tight end keeps his love life fairly private on social media. Uzomah was previously romantically involved with “Survivor” contestant Lauren O’Connell.
Adams has not addressed the situation publicly.
