The US Postal Service and FedEx have announced their cut-off dates to ensure time until Christmas for those shipping gifts and cards to family and friends this year.
Last year, with so many people out of focus during the COVID-19 holidays, mail services were overwhelmed. So this year, USPS recommend that “The sooner you ship the better: Don’t delay, mail and deliver today.”
Here are the dates you won’t want to miss, with costs going up as December 25 approaches:
Retail Ground Services – Wednesday, December 15
First Class Mail – Friday, December 17
First Class (Smaller) Package – Friday, December 17
Priority Mail – Saturday, December 18
Priority Mail Express Delivery – Thursday, December 23
FedEx
FedEx Ground Economy – Monday, December 9
FedEx Ground and Home Delivery – Wednesday, December 15
Express Saver – Tuesday, December 21
2Day & 2Day AM – Wednesday, December 22
Overnight Service – Friday, December 23
FedEx Same Day – Friday, December 24
