Chris Noth denies sexual assault allegations by 2 women, says they are ‘totally untrue’ – National

Chris Noth, the actor best known for his role as Mr. Big in Sex and the city and the program restarts, And just like that, is denying the allegation of sexual assault.

The Hollywood Reporter announced Thursday that two women, identified only by the pseudonyms Lily and Zoe, have accuse the actor of sexual assault in separate incidents dating back to the early 2000s.

Noth, 67, is vehemently denying the claims. In a statement provided to USA Today, Noth said: “The accusations against me by individuals I met years, even decades ago, are clearly untrue.”

“These stories can be from 30 years ago or 30 days ago – which doesn’t always mean not – that’s a line I didn’t cross. Meetings are consensual. It’s hard not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for sure why they’ve surfaced now, but I do know this: I don’t assault these women.”

Zoe, now 40, and Lily, 31, both approached The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year, separately. Both told the publication that Roth’s recent revenge for his role as Mr. Big causing painful memories of the incidents they say occurred in Los Angeles in 2004 and in New York in 2015.

Zoe told the entertainment publication she has “buried” her experience “for so many years”. She said she met Noth shortly after moving to Los Angeles in 2004 when she was 22 years old, to work at a “high-end” company that does a lot of business with celebrities.

“He walked past my desk and flirted with me. Somehow, he got my number from the contacts and left a message on my work phone. My boss said, ‘Mr. Big is leaving a message on your voicemail,” she said.

Later, while visiting the pool at his West Hollywood apartment, she said she borrowed a book from him. When she returned to his apartment to return the book, she said Noth raped her.

Both Zoe’s friends and her former boss confirmed to the publication that Zoe told them about the rape at the time, but asked them to keep it a secret.

Lily said she met the actor while working as a waitress at a New York City bar in 2015. When Noth invited her to dinner, Lily, then 25, said yes.

After dinner, she said, the two headed back to Noth’s apartment. She claimed Noth tried to make up with her several times and Lily said she felt uncomfortable and after a while gave him a definite “no.” When she tried to leave, she said Noth raped her repeatedly.

A friend, named Alex, also verified Lily’s claims to The Hollywood Reporter, saying that she heard a voicemail that Noth left on Lily’s phone, which she believes was redundant. received from Noth that he did something wrong.
