Chilly morning, mild afternoon to start a new week


We accepted an Icy Tip until 8am this morning and the lows have certainly supported it.

Today, we forecast near seasonal highs, with mostly sunny skies as high pressure persists over Western US

There is a series of developing storms well into our North that will affect SoCal and the Valley starting Thursday. Today, those storms move along the coast.

On Thursday we could see light rainfall here in the Valley, with more rain and snow in the mountains.

By the end of Thursday, the precipitation will look like this:

Another wave of rain and snow is likely to arrive towards the end of Christmas Day and last into the night.
