Chicago Bears get good news for last two games of the season

Last week, Chicago Bears knocked out third quarterback Nick Foles in a road game against the Seattle Seahawks. Fortunately, Foles and the offender were able to survive – though barely – in a thrilling victory.

Both Justin Fields (ankle) and Andy Dalton (groin) were out, forcing Foles into action. In the first quarter against Seattle, the Bears also lost a key player.

Attacker Steven Jenkins leaves the game with a shoulder injury, leaving status (and Fields’) for this weekend’s game in question. On Wednesday, however, the Bears received some good news.

Both quarterbacks, Fields and Dalton, are reported back to practice, along with Jenkins. In the final two games of the season, the Bears needed all the agency they could get their hands on to help the front office make some decisions during the season.

Bringing back Justin Fields and Steven Jenkins is a huge positive for the Chicago Bears, but probably won’t affect Matt Nagy.

With Fields and Jenkins well-matched to take on the New York Giants in Week 17, that means the Bears are much more likely to walk away with a win. The Giants suck, regardless, but bringing in their dynamic starting midfield again will only cement a (hopefully) win.

Being able to judge Jenkins for a few more games would allow the Bears, ideally, to feel positive about their handling position heading into the season. With Jenkins and rookie Larry Borom having bright spots this year, it looks like the Bears can definitely rock those two as they head into the future.

Locked in to their disposal points and a franchised quarterback is definitely something many teams would kill to get. The only problem, for now, is with the coaching staff.

It may not matter how well Fields (or anyone else) plays in these last two games. Matt Nagy would be as good as disappearing. Even with a part scary report launched a few days ago, referring to Nagy’s full view of ownership, he should still be fired.

The Bears’ final two games of the season won’t help with qualifying for the knockout stages, unlike last season. Therefore, it is all about pride. It’s all about feeling better going into next season. Nagy’s job couldn’t be helped in their last two games, even as Fields lit up.

For now, fans can simply thank as both the star midfielder and future franchise player have returned to training and are trending Sunday.
