Five years after completing their assembly at West 37th Street and Sixth Avenue, the Chetrit and Yadidi family are continuing with plans to build a mixed-use skyscraper at the site.

Developers and regular partners plan to build a 69-story, 370,000-square-foot tower with 300 residential apartments, including 100 West 37th Street and 993 Sixth Avenue, according to a filing Friday. . Damir Sehic of C3D Architecture is on the list of record architects.

Isaac Chetrit and Ray Yadidi, who run family companies AB & Sons and Sioni Group respectively, are said to have planned the 80-storey tower on the Apparel County website after purchasing the last piece in the complex in 2016. But a year later, the couple has quietly shop for development packages, offering offers over $200 million.

Both families have remained active traders during the pandemic.

In June, AB & Sons sold 546 Broadway leased to Uniqlo after 40 years of ownership for between $160 and $200 million. Earlier this month, the Chetrit and Aini family secured $54 million in construction financing for their 28-story, 135,000-square-foot luxury residential project in Washington Heights.

In October, Sioni Group was in the process of selling 44 West 37th Street – a recently completed Midtown South office building – to 49 million dollars. Last year, Yadidis, along with Isaac and Eli Chetrit, sold an 18-story building at 15 47 West Street for 110 million dollars.
