CHELSEA bidder Todd Boehly has added former government adviser Danny Finkelstein to his consortium.
The American is one of a number of prospective buyers looking to take over troubled club West London.
As tomorrow’s bid deadline approaches, Boehly has brought Finkelstein on board.
The 59-year-old is a former prominent public relations executive and has advised previous Conservative governments.
Prime Ministers he has worked with include John Major, DavidCameron and Teresa May.
Finkelstein confirmed his commitment on Twitter and wrote: “I am delighted to be part of Todd Boehly’s consortium looking to buy Chelsea FC.
“I think that’s like the goal Super Frank scored in added time against Stoke City to win the game and all three points when we were close to losing with just three minutes of regular time left.
“These are smart guys who not only have the money to invest, they know how to use it.
“They understand data and they understand fans. Thats really me
enthusiastic about the plans for fan participation, which I strongly believe in. I want Chelsea to be pioneers.

He currently works as a journalist for The Times.
Another Blues supporter who would become a non-executive director is Barbara Charone.
The prospective board member is also a PR expert, having founded the music company MBC PR in 2000, whose clients include Madonna and Rod Stewart.
Boehly is already involved in sports as the owner of the MLB team LA Dodgers.
He has reportedly made an offer for the Blues alongside Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss.
The duo have a number of competitors who are also looking to make a purchase.
