Chas and Marlon Dingle receive devastating news about the Woolpack fire

FAILURE occurred when The Woolpack caught fire during the Emmerdale Chrismas special.
But Chas and Marlon Dingle’s feud with Al (Michael Wildman) is far from over because their insurance claim won’t be accepted.
In a brand new episode of Emmerdale, due to air the week of January 17, 2022, the couple were disappointed when they found out their insurance claim was void because they didn’t mention any development plans.
Trapped, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) agrees to hand over ownership of The Woolpack to Al, after weeks of fighting to keep the pub alive.
Al had a plan to turn The Woolpack into luxury apartments, much to the Dingle family’s disappointment.
However, to finance his project, he had to turn to a loan shark named Gavin and was struggling to pay off his debt.

When Gavin tells him to give less money to Chas and Marlon (Mark Charnock) for The Woolpack, Al is frustrated and tensions arise between the businessman and the Dingle clan.
Not long after, Paddy announced that Al had dropped the price by 20k and angry at being cheated, Chas refused to sign.
This only put more pressure on Al, unintentionally on Dingles, and Gavin urged him to sign the contract in just two days.
And needless to say, after being beaten Using one of Gavin’s side skills, Al knows there’s no room for error.
The desperation to get out of the debt Gavin was in, but also to protect his son Ellis, had him stooping to a new low.
During Emmerdale’s Christmas special, Al Torch The Woolpack, leaving Chas and Marlon Dingle to pick up the pieces.
