Before departing for another part of the county in South West England, Ollie thought sharing an Instagram post was a good idea.

After enjoying a snack at the Rick Stein seafood restaurant in Padstow, the reality star shot a texting video teasing the hunters.

Ollie said: “The hunters were so lovely that you joined us, oh no you didn’t because you weren’t smart enough.

“We’re at Rick Stein having a great time. Wish you were here!”

Many fans took to Twitter to question why the couple thought it was a good idea to post something so soon after leaving their current position.

One angry: “Why don’t they post their Padstow video after they’ve gone elsewhere??!”

The second added: “Why are you posting it on social media.”

A third insisted: “Ollie and Gareth posting an instagram video from the Padstow restaurant mocking the hunters was an obvious mistake.”

“DO NOT POST it,” tweeted a Wednesday.

“I wonder if any fugitive would think of having a social media post about being in an area that is slated to be sent 48 hours after they’ve left. That really does. can make them lose face,” another pointed out.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that the couple – who got married in 2020 – were the first celebrities to be found.

This is not the first time viewers have discovered the error.

Eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter to note that they’ve discovered that they appear to have shot one of the scenes twice to get two different angles.

They quickly took to Twitter to reveal how there were two entrances to the underground stop, and noted that the scene was shot from both.

“Clear mistake on Celebrity Hunted,” one viewer pointed out. “There are two entrances to the Leytonstone tube. They are pictured going on both sides.”

They went on to discuss whether it was a “setup or a re-enactment”, as it took a moment to speculate how the hunters found the pair’s footage so quickly. .

“Did the hunters have seconds from what must have been hours in tube station CCTV footage? Such a huge setup,” wrote a second viewer.
