Caught on Camera: Suspects shooting surveillance at Spivey’s Uptown in Third Ward spill into parking lot

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston Police Department released February 17 surveillance photos of four suspects wanted in the shooting of five men in Spivey’s Uptown in Third Ward.

Around 1 a.m., police received a call that several people had been shot dead outside of the 3000 Blodgett Street block, police said.

Five people were injured: the bouncer, who was shot in the hand; Two men shot in the leg; A man shot in the pool; A fifth man whose location is unclear.

The shooter is described as Hispanic. The three other unidentified suspects were seen handling firearms.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a physical altercation between two groups of people inside the company began.

The shooting stemmed from an argument that was broken up before he was escorted out of Spivey’s Uptown. After they entered the parking lot, a second argument broke out and two unidentified suspects drew guns and started shooting, police say.

Investigators say the suspects, who were described at the time as only one black and one Hispanic, then fled the scene.
