Cardi B’s Boozy Whipshots Whipshots Debuted at Art Basel

Have you ever taken a big bite of a dessert cake and wondered, “What if this gets me drunk?” Now thanks Cardi, you don’t have to wonder anymore. Rapper teaming up with Starco Brands for Whipshots, can toothpaste mixed with vodka. After releasing a select number of cans last week, Cardi officially launched its new boozy dessert over the weekend at Art of Basel in Miami.

Cardi shared Whipshots with guests at a star-studded sweets-themed party this weekend, offering a preview of three flavors – vanilla, caramel and mocha – that went on sale this month. The rapper provided partygoers with Whipshots served in cones, cocktails, desserts and straight from cans throughout the event, each a report from Billboards.

Regarding her decision to create dessert, Cardi said to Billboards in a statement that it’s the perfect combination of sexy and delicious: “I’m not really a hard drinker. And I like sexy and delicious things. It will be a party in every can. There was a time when I was going to make margaritas, but this one is more fun.”

Speaking to Echoing Cardi, Starco Brands CEO Ross Sklar said the rapper is the perfect complement to their product. “You have to find someone who is transparent, super fun, super playful,” says Sklar. “Someone who isn’t afraid to flirt, but most of all, herself. The product delivers and the personality delivers… Authenticity brings credibility. ”

Cardi B is an artist at Warner Music. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.
