According to police, the chase ended shortly after 8:30 a.m. Sunday on North Wayside Drive in Tidwell Road with officers fatally shooting the suspect.
The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital. No officers were injured.
HPD commanders and PIOs were on their way to an officer-involved shootout at North Wayside Drive at Tidwell Rd in NE Houston.
