Candace Cameron Bure Recalls Last Messages With Bob Saget – NBC10 Philadelphia

Candace Cameron Bure tearfully shares with Hoda Kotb about the emotional final messages she received from Bob Saget.

Bure explains that she and Saget got into an argument right before their dinner date.

“We were going to have dinner. And we had a little bit of trouble. And his flight was delayed. We ended up not having dinner,” she recalls.

“But in Bob’s fashion, the next day he wrote me, sort of a page-long text,” she continued, smiling at the memory. “And he’s apologizing, saying he’s cranky and he’s just very apologetic.”

Saget joked his “irritable” behavior with that of his late mother, Dolly, who passed away in 2014.

“He said, ‘Oh, I feel worse now. I was so wrong. You’re like my favorite person on earth. And I acted like Dolly. I’m ready to respond. the flight was late, and I was upset,” Mr. Bure said.

After that, Saget switches numbers and continues to tell Bure how much he loves her.

“Bob went on, and on, and on, and on in the text. And finally he said, ‘I love you more for the trouble you’re giving me, if that’s even possible’, Bure tried to speak as she became more and more emotional.

“And I wrote back, ‘I love you. I can never be mad at you. Rolling eyes with you? Yes. But never get angry,” she recalls. “‘And I loved that (you’re like) Dolly. That made me laugh out loud. I love your mother.”

“And he just wrote back, ‘I love you. My mom loves you too.'”

Bure’s sweet recollection comes almost a month after Saget was found dead aged 65 in a hotel room in Orlando on January 9. The beloved entertainer recently performed on a comedy tour scheduled to last through the summer.

The next day, the District Ninth Medical Examiner’s Office issued a notice announcing that an autopsy performed on Saget’s body showed no signs of drug use or debauchery. The statement said that Saget’s cause and manner of death was pending further investigation and could take around 10-12 weeks.

In the weeks since Saget’s death, Bure, who will release this month a new Hallmark film, “Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Haunted by Murder,” as well as a new clothing line with QVC, has many times honored her late co-star on social networks. Soon after learning of Saget’s passing, Bure called Saget “one of the best people I’ve ever known in my life.” on Twitter.

A day later, she posted some pictures of herself and Saget on Instagramwrote, “I love you so much. I don’t want to say goodbye 💔. 35 years is not long enough.”

In a collective dedication“Full House” members, Bure, and her said they grieve “like a family,” and asked fans to hug each other in Saget’s memory. “We ask for Bob’s honor, hug those you love. No one hugs better than Bob,” they wrote sincerely. Instagram post.

A week later, Bure shared a photo on Instagram her wearing a custom sweatshirt has a special message.
